Snowy day

We had a good couple of inches come down today, and the girls were very excited to go out and play. So, after about an hour of drama trying to get them both dressed in snow gear, they went and played in the snow for about 15 minutes. Below are the phots of snow fun!

Noah's First Birthday!

Today was not only Thanksgiving, but also Noah's first birthday. He had a great time eating his cake at the Thanksgiving feast, and then later at home we opened presents.

Thanksgiving 2012

This year we had a nice crowd for our annual Thanksgiving fest here at the camp. We had football, charlie brown, a ginormous turkey, tons of food, and lots of great friends. I love our Thanksgivings here. Being at the camp really gives us the ability to welcome anyone and everyone into our big extended family here which is great.

Abbie's new "school"

We have been trying to figure out how to get the kids, especially Abbie, some more interaction with other kids. Abbie is SO social and just loves hanging out with "friends" (anyone). So we are signing her up for daycare in Ivankiv. Today I took her just to see the place and give the school some of her documents. We saw her class, but we happened to come at naptime so she didn't get to play with the kids at all. But she was still so excited that she did NOT want to leave. So I left her there, doing puzzles with a teacher, for about half an hour while I ran some errands. When we left, we had to check out the playground, so here are some pictures. The Mercedes cracked me up. I will add updates on how she adjusts to the language, etc.

Just hangin out at home

Here are just a couple of shots of the kids playing around at home.
